As an alternative to cutting a new personnel door into a wall, a “Wicket Door” – an independently swinging door and frame assembly – can be installed into an existing roll-up door for convenience or required exit purposes. It allows personnel access without opening the roll-up door, yet allows access through the full roll-up door opening once it is opened and the wicket door assembly is swung clear.
